A primary educational institution in Canterbury is seeking a certificated teacher for permanent vacancies in the Y0–6 area starting from term 1, 2026. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a commitment to personal growth within a supportive school environment. Our Y0–8 kura has up to three permanent vacancies in the Y0–6 area. These positions begin from term 1, 2026. If you are interested in applying please state your preference of year levels.
Our kura is focused on providing a safe and inclusive learning environment with a strong commitment to relational practice. We have a supportive staff with a positive school culture. We are committed to an exciting journey with DMIC (mathematics), structured literacy (BSLA) and professional learning development with Helen Walls (writing). We are looking for committed, open-minded, strong classroom practitioners who have strengths in communication, developing relationships, and a willingness to grow their own practice.
