Subjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

Musselburgh School is located in South Dunedin with a current roll of 144 students.

We have a year long fixed-term vacancy commencing at the start of term 1, 2026 ending at the end of term 4, 2026. The vacancy will likely be in a Y4 and 5 classroom.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher who would like to join our team. We have amazing teaching and support staff, committed to putting the needs of the students first, with high expectations and meaningful engagement with parents, whānau and the wider community.

Our ideal applicant will have effective pedagogical skills and will have experience in supporting students to make excellent progress across the refreshed NZ Curriculum; strengths and experience in Structured Literacy and Numeracy would be desirable, as is knowledge of Te Ao Māori and cultural understanding.
