Overview

We are looking for a passionate, creative and ambitious Scale A teacher to join our dedicated team at Parkview Pārua School. The successful applicant will be highly relational, have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, and have a passion for high quality teaching and learning. Collaborative practice is essential, and will value and drive our school motto - Learning, Caring, Leading - Kia ako, Kia atawhai, Kia ārahi.

  • Provide high-quality teaching and learning across the subject areas listed (Primary and intermediate years 1–8).
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and professional practice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, whānau, and the community.
  • Support student well-being and align with school values and pastoral care.
  • Implement evidence-based teaching practices and innovative pedagogy.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to behaviour management and pastoral care.
