Turua School is a lovely and friendly country school, set at the heart of a caring community. Situated on the beautiful Hauraki Plains, Turua is just a 10-minute drive from both Thames and Ngatea, and 15 minutes from Paeroa – making us easily accessible while retaining our warm country school feel.

We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated team in 2026.

The person we are looking for will be:

Desirable skills (but not essential):

• Passion for science/STEM.
• Interest in environmental education and/or garden to table.
• Familiarity with the Better Start literacy approach (BLSA).
• Understanding of positive behaviour for learning (PB4L).
