Overview

Mosston School is seeking an experienced collaborative, innovative, and inspiring teacher to join our junior team. We are looking for a teacher who is inclusive and will bring enthusiasm and initiative to both the classroom and the wider life of our school.

This position includes a fixed-term unit for school wide maths leadership and is not suitable for a beginning teacher.

Qualifications and requirements

• Strong pedagogical knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and a commitment to developing every child to their potential
• Ideally, experienced in IDEAL Structured Literacy and Play Based Learning
• Strong classroom organisation and an ability to lead
• A proven ability to build positive relationships with students, whānau, and colleagues
• A commitment to contributing positively to the cultural, sporting, and community life of Mosston School
