A New Zealand primary school in Auckland is seeking a passionate teacher fluent in Te Reo Māori for their Māori Bilingual Unit. This permanent position begins in term 2, 2026, with responsibilities including teaching, building relationships with students and whānau, and collaborating with colleagues. Strong skills in Māori culture and education are essential for this role.
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects include English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts. We are seeking an enthusiastic and fluent speaker of Te Reo Māori to join Te Whānau Moko, our Māori Bilingual Unit.
This is a permanent position that commences in term 2. There is also possible bilingual leadership opportunity with this position.
