Job summary

Brooklyn School (Wellington) invites applications for two permanent kaiako to join our community-driven primary and intermediate team (Years 1–8). We seek energetic educators who are collaborative, positive, and passionate about child-centred learning.

As a kura tuatahi, you will contribute to delivering a broad NZ curriculum across English, health and physical education, learning languages, mathematics and statistics, science, social sciences, technology, te reo Māori and the arts to diverse

Qualifications

• Certificated teacher with NZ registration.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a child-centred education.
• Experience in primary/intermediate settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging learning across Years 1–8.
• Contribute to the school’s vision and climate for learning.
• Support diverse learners and collaborate with staff to plan integrated units.
