Job summary

St Mark's Catholic School, Pakuranga invites two Scale A classroom teachers to join for a fixed-term period from 28 January 2027 to 27 January 2028.

Open to New Zealand Registered Teachers; roles cover Years 1–8 with a focus on engaging learning, strong relationships, assessment for learning, and contributing to the school community, including co-curriculars and upholding the school's Catholic character.

Qualifications

Primary and intermediate (Years 1-8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

We are looking for two amazing educators to join our team at St Mark's Catholic School, Pakuranga.

We are seeking New Zealand Registered Teachers who are positive, innovative and committed to making a difference for ākonga. We are looking for educators who:

• build strong, positive relationships with students, whānau and colleagues
• create engaging, purposeful learning opportunities and have high expectations for every learner
• use assessment effectively to identify next learning steps and respond to individual needs
• demonstrate sound curriculum knowledge and a strong understanding of effective, responsive pedagogy

• willingly share their strengths, learn alongside others and contribute to the wider life of our school.
