Job summary

Foodies in Auckland is seeking a SAP SuccessFactors Quality Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to ensure a reliable, secure, and seamless experience for our people. You will test core HR processes, employee lifecycle changes, workflows, permissions, HR data and integrations across SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

You will design and execute comprehensive tests, validate end-to-end lifecycle events, test integrations with payroll and IAM systems, and contribute to test automation

Qualifications

• Strong SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central testing experience including configuration changes, enhancements, integrations and release cycles.
• Solid understanding of Employee Central data and HR processes (employee profile, personal information, employment and job information, foundation objects, positions and structures).
• Experience validating business rules, workflows, permissions and data propagation.
• Experience with integration and regression testing across SuccessFactors and systems such as Payroll, Identity & Access Management, reporting, Learning, Recruitment, Time & Attendance or Finance.
• Ability to test/inbound and outbound interfaces, APIs, integration files, middleware flows, error handling and data reconciliation.
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca or other test automation tools is highly valued.
• Exposure to other SAP SuccessFactors modules, SAP Integration Centre, OData APIs, and middleware is advantageous.
• Familiarity with test management and documentation tools (HP ALM, qTest, Xray, Zephyr, TestRail, Confluence, SharePoint).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with business, functional and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and execute functional, integration, regression and release testing across SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Validate end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (hire, rehire, transfer, promotion, job change, manager change, leave, termination, retirement, data updates).
• Validate HR data, organisational structures, workflows, business rules, permissions and date-effective changes.
• Test integrations between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and downstream systems (payroll, IAM, reporting platforms, learning, recruitment, time & attendance, rostering, finance).
• Validate inbound and outbound interfaces, including file-based integrations, APIs, middleware-driven flows, error handling and reconciliation.
• Identify, manage and retest defects through to resolution.
• Support UAT and work with HR, Payroll, People Systems, Product Owners and technical teams.
• Contribute to test automation with Tosca where value-added.
• Share knowledge and contribute to QA Community of Practice.
