Job summary

Capgemini in Auckland, New Zealand, invites an experienced SAP PSCD/FI-CA consultant to join our onshore team. You will work with offshore resources on SAP implementations, guiding design decisions and delivering SAP PSCD/FI-CA solutions aligned with SAP standards.

You will engage with clients to manage relationships through implementation, support, and delivery, contributing to our public sector and financial services practices with thought leadership and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP PSCD or FI-CA space.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (PSCD or FI-CA) with 2-3 full life-cycle implementations.
• Experience in Group Reporting, Advanced Financial Closing or DRC is preferred.
• Proven track record delivering IT projects across diverse sectors and multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an onshore project team, collaborating with offshore during SAP implementations.
• Guide clients in design decisions for PSCD or FI-CA, integrated with other areas.
• Design, configure, and optimize SAP solutions from a PSCD/FI-CA perspective using SAP standards.
• Act as primary client contact, managing relationships through implementation and build.
• Contribute thought leadership to grow client relationships and internal practice.

As our SAP PSCD or FICA Finance Consultant, you will:

• Be part of an onshore project team, working with offshore as part of an SAP implementation.
• Accompany Capgemini's clients in key design decisions in Public Sector Collections Disbursement (PSCD) or the Finance Contract Accounting (FI-CA) space, integrated with other functional and technical areas.
• Design, configure, and optimize SAP Solutions from a PSCD or FI-CA perspective to meet evolving business needs, based on SAP standard and industry best practices.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing relationships throughout implementation and technical build processes.
• Contribute from a thought leadership perspective to help grow our clients but also our internal practice from a Public Sector as well as Funds and Grants perspective, SAP perspective (including the future roadmap) and the industry practices you've come across.

Your profile:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP Public Sector Collections Disbursement (PSCD) space or in the Finance Contract Accounting (FI-CA) space.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (PSCD or FI-CA) with 2-3 full life-cycle implementations.
• Additional experience in Group Reporting, Advanced Financial Closing or Document and Reporting Compliance will be given preference.
• Proven track record in delivering large and small IT projects across diverse industry sectors, including multicultural environments.
• If you are now working for an end user, we would expect you to still have a minimum of four years consulting experience at some stage of your career.
