Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Sampling Specialist in Waikato to perform timely laboratory sampling and testing to support product release and quality assurance. You will coordinate with internal teams and ensure samples are correctly labelled, documented and traceable, while maintaining equipment and meeting ISO policies.

The role requires lab experience, knowledge of dairy standards, and a science degree or equivalent. Travel to other sites may be required; Abbott values safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment with sample registration and lab systems.
• Knowledge of dairy/food industry standards is advantageous.
• A science qualification (Microbiology or Chemistry) is beneficial.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders and resolve issues.
