This role is part of LIC's Operations & Services team, who deliver an essential animal health service to NZ farmers. Operations & Service is made up of LIC's Artificial Breeding, Diagnostics, Farms Management, FarmWise, Field Assist, Heifer Management and Herd Testing teams.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Herd Test Sample Transport Team Leader, you will be responsible for the transportation of Herd Test samples, equipment and goods between Hawera and Palmerston North.

The role involves:

• On call to cover drivers during the peak season.
• 4pm start.
• This is a casual role from October 2025 – May 2026.
• Truck runs between Hawera and Palmerston North.

The role would be ideal for someone who is looking for part-time hours, perhaps someone who is semi-retired.

About You:

With a 'can-do' attitude, you will be a self-motivated with excellent record keeping and customer service skills. You will also:

• Be physically fit
• Hold a valid Class 4 driver's licence
• Have an excellent driving record
• Computer skills are not essential but would be an advantage.
