Responsibilities

• Label, track, and manage samples through workflow.
• Prepare samples for microbiological analysis per SOPs.
• Perform routine lab techniques and assist with quality control.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate lab records and support quality standards compliance.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and organized lab environment.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for science, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to quality and accuracy. Working as part of a supportive laboratory team, you will play a key role in receiving, processing, and preparing environmental samples for testing while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and accreditation requirements.

About the Role

• Receive, inspect, and register environmental samples including water, wastewater, and soil.

• Experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 accreditation requirements.
