Job summary

Farmers Dunedin is seeking a Sales and Service Manager to lead a busy department within a well-known New Zealand retail brand. You will drive department sales, coach and develop the team, and ensure excellent customer service across departments as part of the management roster.

The role involves weekend work and early starts/late nights, with opportunities for professional growth and exposure to a wide range of retail offerings in Womens, Men’s fashion, Homeware and Nursery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar position (Store Manager small store or Department Manager medium to large store).
• Strong sales coaching competence and ability to motivate a team to improve sales results.

Responsibilities

• Drive department sales and take full ownership for the teams sales performance.
• Manage, coach, develop and motivate team to exceed sales budgets.
• Liaise with VM to ensure visual elements are in place before store opening.
• Drive a customer service culture across departments with high service levels.

As theSales and Service Manager you will:

What we are looking for in our ideal candidate:

• 2+ years' experience in a similar position (Store Manager small store or Department Manager medium to large store)


• Strong sales coaching competence - proven ability in coaching for sales improvement


• Excellent team management experience - can motivate and coach a team to improve sales results
