Job summary

Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast, Hutt Valley & Wairarapa invites applications for 2 x Permanent Anaesthesia Registrar positions in the Wellington region. Roles are rotational across Wellington Regional, Kenepuru and Hutt Valley Hospitals with start dates 1 February 2027 and 3 May 2027.

Registrars will participate in ANZCA training pathways, with collaboration across Central NZ rotations, and opportunities to gain FANZCA/FCICM credentials.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months previous experience working within Anaesthesia in an accredited training position.
• Must have eligibility for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• NZ citizen or resident or valid visa to live and work in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Rotational posts across Wellington Regional, Kenepuru and Hutt Valley Hospitals.
• Attend weekly teaching sessions appropriate to level of training.
• Be involved in on-call Rosters and anaesthesia service across multiple sites.
