Job summary

Contour Roofing in Nelson seeks an organised Assistant Contracts Manager to join our Contracts Team. You will coordinate projects from contract award through to completion, manage scheduling, procurement and subcontractor coordination to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; construction/contract administration experience is preferred for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, construction, contract administration, procurement or related sector.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Great Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential re-roof schedules, materials and subcontractors.
• Raise and manage purchase orders and material procurement.
• Support contract administration, variations, progress claims and invoicing.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and project records.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor communications and payments.
• Monitor project progress and follow up outstanding actions.
• Provide exceptional service to customers and project stakeholders.
• Support health, safety and compliance requirements.
