Job summary

Building Recruitment Limited on behalf of our client is seeking experienced Roofers to join the growing Waikato team. These are full-time, permanent roles with a minimum of 30 hours per week, covering installation, replacement and repair work across residential and commercial sites in the Waikato region.

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 4 Roofing qualification or equivalent, or at least 3 years in roofing installations, repairs and replacements.
• Sound technical skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional with good client-facing communication and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace long-run, tile, and membrane roofing systems.
• Install roofing underlay, flashings, ridge caps and edge details.
• Complete roof repairs and re-roofs on residential and commercial buildings.
• Work from plans, specifications and site instructions.
• Ensure work is watertight and completed to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site requirements.

These are full-time, permanent roles with a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, offering a variety of installation, replacement, and repair work across residential, commercial, and project-based sites. The Role

• Install and replace long-run, tile, and membrane roofing systems

What We're Looking For

• A recognised trade qualification in Roofing (NZQF Level 4 or overseas equivalent), OR at least 3 years' relevant industry experience installing, repairing and replacing roofing systems
• Good technical skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional approach
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Commitment to health and safety, including working at heights
• Full driver's licence
• Willingness to travel to other regions occasionally as project demand requires
