Job summary

Tradestaff New Zealand in Hamilton, Waikato, is seeking a hands-on installer to join our team. You will install Industrial Roller Doors and Motors, maintain on-site order and safety, and complete detailed job sheets.

Training, PPE, and tools are provided, with occasional weekend work to meet client demand. We value mechanically minded individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to work at heights
• Competent with hand and power tools
• Clean, full driver’s license (manual & automatic) and ability to back a trailer
• HT license, Hi-ab crane certification and welding tickets are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Installation of Industrial Roller Doors and Motors in line with company standards
• Maintain cleanliness on site and keep vehicle stocked and organised
• Fill in job sheets accurately and record essential information
• Follow site instructions and health & safety procedures
• Travel within Waikato including overnight stays as required
• Work on residential, commercial and retail sites; full-time Mon-Fri with occasional Saturday work
