Job summary

Waikato Door Specialists Ltd in Hamilton is seeking a hands-on installer/technician for Industrial Roller Doors and Motors. You will work with a team to install, service and maintain doors across the Waikato region, with training provided and opportunities for skill development.

The role suits mechanically minded individuals with a can-do attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work unsupervised or in a team. HT license or welding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Mechanically minded and forward thinker.
• Competent with hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic with high energy levels and good communication.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights.
• Able to work unsupervised and/or in a team environment.
• Clean driver’s license with manual/automatic driving ability.
• Experience preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Installation of Industrial Roller Doors and Motors.
• Maintain site cleanliness and organise work vehicle.
• Fill in job sheets accurately and record essential information.
• Follow site instructions and health and safety procedures.
• Service the greater Waikato with occasional travel.
• Busy, varied role on residential, commercial and retail sites.
