Fulton Hogan Ltd in Central Otago, New Zealand, is seeking a Construction Machine Operator to operate a range of civil construction machinery on sites across the region.

You will follow safety practices, conduct daily inspections, and work tightly with teams to deliver pavement and roading projects. Full class 1 and 2 NZ driver licences are required; experience with earthmoving equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ Class 1 and Class 2 driver licences.
• Experience operating construction and earthmoving machinery in civil environments.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental practices.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to follow plans, instructions and quality standards.
• Reliable, proactive and hardworking with pride in results.
• Experience in pavement construction, roading or subdivision works is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Operate a range of construction plant safely, including rollers, loaders, and excavators.
• Deliver pavement construction and road rehabilitation works across projects.
• Complete daily machine inspections and basic servicing tasks.
• Collaborate with supervisors, drivers and crews to meet project objectives.
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental and quality requirements on site.
• Support general construction activities and contribute to a positive team culture.
