Job description

We are looking for 2 dedicated Retail Supervisors for our business in Christchurch, Canterbury. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week with a pay rate between $25.00-$30.00 per hour. You are required to work as per the roster and need to available on weekends and late evenings

The Retails Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our store, ensuring high standards of customer service, inventory management, and staff performance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for dairy products, and the ability to handle various administrative and operational tasks efficiently.


Tasks Include:

1. ensuring that customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services
2. responding to customers' inquiries and complaints about goods and services
3. planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties
4. interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, dismissing and promoting staff, and resolving staff grievances
5. instructing staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales procedures
6. examining returned goods and deciding on appropriate action
7. taking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock
8. ensuring that goods and services are correctly priced and displayed
9. ensuring safety and security procedures are enforced

  • either six months of relevant work experience or a Level 4 qualification (or higher) is preferred for the position or opportunity.
