GPC Asia Pacific’s Repco store in Kaiapoi, NZ is hiring a Retail Coordinator. You will drive product placement, promotions and store presentation while delivering exceptional customer service on the shop floor.

The role supports ongoing merchandising initiatives and stock management in a fast-paced retail environment. Ideal candidates will have prior retail exposure, a keen eye for display, and a strong, friendly communication style.

• Exposure to merchandising is preferred.
• Creative flair for store presentation.

About the role:

As aRetail Coordinator you willhold a unique and varied position in the Repco store - Using your creative ability, you will help decide on product placement & promotions, merchandising & store presentation, while also being an integral part of the customer service team and assisting customers on the shop floor.As a fun and energetic team member your roleincludes product placement, merchandising, ensuring the store is kept well stocked and tidy alongsideproviding fantastic customer service. Specific duties include:

• Leading by example by providing friendly and accurate advice to our customers

• Maintaining branch standards, in particular merchandising standards, planogram changes and in store promotions

• Ensuring a high store presentation standard

• Assisting with branch stock levels and ensuring the shop floor is well stocked

• Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home

Note, this role will require lifting, bending & climbing

Who we’re looking for

Previous retail experience is essential for this role, and ideally within a similar role where you've had exposure to merchandising. Not only will you contribute on the shop floor with your strong customer services skills and helping our customers but also demonstrate a creative flare for store presentation. We are looking for:
