Within the Restructuring and Insolvency space, the firm works with under-performing or distressed companies, managing crisis situations and implementing strategic improvements. Their services are also in demand from stable businesses seeking process enhancements or dealing with complex, unexpected issues.
You will be part of a team providing technical advice to both public and private sectors, involved in fraud investigations, and offering independent financial advice on mergers and acquisitions. This role offers comprehensive exposure to the entire restructuring & insolvency cycle.
You will work with a diverse range of clients, including local and international companies, banks, corporates, law firms, and government agencies. Many cases are international, complex, and high-profile.
We welcome applications from professionals with experience in the Big 4 or international mid-tier firms, particularly in Forensic, Restructuring/Business Recovery, Deals Advisory, or Transaction Services.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience, with certifications such as CA/CPA or CFA, or be midway through qualification. Strong client and stakeholder management skills, developed through handling diverse portfolios, are essential.
Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles are required. Candidates returning to NZ after OEs are encouraged to apply.
