Job summary

Russell McVeagh in Auckland is seeking a lawyer with 1-4 years' experience to join our dedicated restructuring and insolvency team. You will handle a broad mix of domestic and cross-border matters, including workouts, formal insolvencies, and M&A-related issues, while collaborating with banks, practitioners, sponsors and international law firms.

Our team advises on workouts, distressed refinancings and enforcement, and engages with courts.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency.
• High-quality CV and academic transcript.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on domestic and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters.
