We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Physicians to join our dynamic team of Respiratory Medicine. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent inpatient and outpatient care. This role reports to the Service Clinical Director, Respiratory Services and is part of the Cardiovascular Directorate at Te Toka Tumai.
In this role you will be responsible to provide clinical expertise across the speciality of General Respiratory and basic Sleep Medicine, participating in the delivery of excellent patient care, research and regional expertise in line with the organisations vision and values.
This role is a locum position in Respiratory Medicine to support the service. The primary areas of competency include Pleural Disease and associated procedures, and Bronchoscopy. Interest in Lung Cancer, Airways Disease, Sleep Disorders and Respiratory Physiology in addition to the above would also be of value, however all interested Respiratory Physicians should apply.

Centrally located in Auckland, the Respiratory department at Te Toka Tumai Auckland provides services for both national (including lung transplant and surgical management of pulmonary hypertension) and local (including management of cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, complex pleural disease and sleep disorders) patients. Our department includes Respiratory and Sleep Laboratories and undertakes clinical and industry-sponsored research.
