A government education agency in Auckland is seeking a full-time Resourcing Auditor to perform audits in schools and early learning services across the region. Ideal candidates will possess a tertiary qualification or relevant experience in the public sector and have strong relationship management and communication skills. This role involves national travel and offers a salary range of $85,225 - $103,071 per annum plus benefits.

We have one permanent full-time position available, based at our Auckland office, completing resourcing audits of schools and early learning services across the Auckland region. Resourcing Auditors have delegation under the Education and Training Act 2020 to enter and inspect schools and licensed early learning services for the purpose of completing audits, to verify that resourcing claims are accurate and meet Ministry resourcing requirements. This involves some national travel and working on location in schools and licensed early learning services, as well as in the Ministry’s offices.
Salary range: $85,225 - $103,071 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

To be successful in the role, you will need a tertiary qualification or experience working in a public sector agency, auditing experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong relationship management skills. You will need to have the ability to travel (may include overnight).

The Resourcing Monitoring and Assurance Team provides the Ministry with assurance that schools and licensed early learning (ECE) services have received the correct resourcing entitlement. This involves completing resource allocation audits, special reviews and the reconciliation of resourcing and funding claims in both the school and early learning sectors.
