Job summary

CORDE is seeking an Operator for the Resource Recovery Park in Rolleston. You will safely operate fixed and mobile plant, including loaders, hook trucks and shredders, while delivering excellent customer service and helping keep the site clean and organized.

A strong commitment to health and safety is essential, and you’ll join a team that values reliability and practical hands-on work. Role requires WTR endorsement, Class 4 licence, loader experience and flexibility to rotate weekends.

Qualifications

• WTR Endorsement is essential.
• Class 4 Driver Licence required.
• Forklift Endorsement and OSH Ticket are desirable.
• Loader experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate fixed and mobile plant (loaders, hook trucks, mobile shredders).

About the role | Ko te kaupapa

Join our team as an Operator at the Resource Recovery Park (RRP) in Rolleston and play an important role in keeping our community’s waste and recycling services running safely and efficiently.

As an operator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and tidy operation of the Resource Recovery Park while operating a range of fixed and mobile plant, including loaders, hook trucks, and mobile shredders. You will also provide excellent customer service to site users and work closely with the team to maintain a safe and organised environment.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job well and has a strong commitment to health and safety. If you are reliable, motivated, and ready to get stuck in, we’d love to hear from you.
