Resort Manager vacancy in Hamilton New Zealand

Master Kong has made its mark on the Mount and we seek someone to make their mark on their chef career. Master Kong is a bar & dining establishment serving Asian street food with a large selection of shareable recipes and a limited-edition handmade drink list. We are looking for someone to bring imagination to the Mount.

Position: Chef de Partie (CDP)

As a Chef de Partie, you will support the Head Cook/ Chef and contribute to the success of the team. This is a developing role with the aim of expanding culinary and leadership skills so you can eventually become Head Cook and run your own kitchen. We require a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen and will provide ongoing training.

Responsibilities

1. Be a leader and mentor to Junior Chefs and Kitchen Hands.
2. Absorb skills needed to run a kitchen effectively and innovatively.
3. Learn to recognize menu costing and development.
