Qualifications

Job Description

The Liggins Institute is seeking a Research Nurse to support the delivery of clinical research studies within its Gut Bugs research programme. This 9 month fixed-term position (until 30 June 2027) combines clinical nursing responsibilities with study coordination, providing support across participant recruitment, assessments, treatment delivery, data collection, and study administration.

You will help ensure that clinical trials are conducted in accordance with approved protocols, ethical requirements, and Good Clinical Practice standards. The role involves regular interaction with research participants, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders, and offers the opportunity to contribute to research focused on improving long-term health outcomes.

This is a full-time opportunity suited to a registered nurse with strong organisational skills, an interest in clinical research, and the ability to work across both participant-facing and administrative aspects of study delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, enrolment and follow-up activities.

The salary range for these roles are$73,400 - $101,900 depending on skills and experience
