Job description

We are seeking a student to support the administrative and research operations of our science team.

Position Description

Your Impact

Reporting to the Project Manager – Science & Technology and based in Auckland, you’ll play a key role in supporting the administrative and research operations of our Science team. Role is 20 hours per week

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and regularly updating study documentation and cost tracking in our database with precision and attention to detail.
  • Assisting with the preparation, review, and amendment of project documentation.
  • Supporting various administrative tasks, including month-end reporting, meeting coordination, minute-taking, and managing order requirements.
  • Conducting PubMed and online publication searches, and sourcing scientific manuscripts.
  • Uploading new beta-casein publications to the Science website CRM.
  • Managing and maintaining our internal Reference Library.
  • Researching clinical trials and related publications, and preparing concise weekly summaries.
  • Assisting with biosample shipments, including ensuring all required import documentation is complete.
  • Organising the shipment of milk, protein, and ingredient samples for clinical studies.
  • Sourcing research kits or products as required (e.g., UGAL, ELISA).

The perfect candidate will have:

  • A logical, curious, and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and numerical communication abilities
  • The ability to work efficiently, independently, and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EndNote software
