We're looking for a Reporting Analyst to support business units across Council by developing, maintaining, and enhancing our financial reporting and planning capabilities. You'll play a central role in ensuring our data is accurate, accessible, and actionable—especially as we roll out the new OneCouncil ERP system.

Reporting to the Product Lead - Council Services, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Council, delivering critical insights and championing best practice in data reporting.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and delivering accurate, effective reporting and dashboards across Council.
• Ensuring data integrity and consistency across multiple systems, with a key focus on financial reporting.
• Supporting the implementation of the OneCouncil ERP reporting, particularly within Finance.
• Acting as the technical lead for Finance system configuration, workflow changes, and reporting tools.
• Partnering with stakeholders to improve data architecture and drive continuous reporting improvement.
• Training and supporting staff to increase confidence and understanding in data use and reporting tools.

What you will bring:

• A tertiary qualification in data reporting, analytics, accounting, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of relevant experience in accounting, ERP reporting, or financial systems.
• Strong financial and systems thinking with advanced skills in tools like Power BI, SSRS, Excel, and ERP systems such as TechnologyOne.
• The ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for a wide range of stakeholders.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with strong project and change management awareness.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday, both days inclusive.
