Job summary

Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand is seeking an Operations Lead to manage workflow in a busy store environment in Timaru. You will lead the swarm, coordinate deliveries, fill shelves to standard, and drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operations & Stock Management: lead the 'swarm' to efficiently handle tasks, oversee all teams to fill shelves and manage deliveries to standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: coach for on-job training and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain Store Standards: ensure correct shelving, packaging, and management of overstocks.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: elevate process-related issues to the Function Lead for resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: act as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and engage in Better Together initiatives.

• Execute Operations & Stock Management: Ensure accurate and timely completion of routines, leading the "swarm" to correctly handle tasks, and overseeing all teams to fill shelves and manage deliveries according to standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead on-job training and coaching for team members, and champion a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain Store Standards: Ensure all teams are filling to correct standards, prioritize shelf-friendly packaging, and manage overstocks effectively.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: Timely elevate process-related issues to the Function Lead for resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: Step up as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and actively participate in "Better Together" connections to foster team collaboration.
