Job summary

Woolworths Group in New Zealand is seeking a Store Operations Supervisor to lead daily store workflows, oversee stock management and team coaching, and uphold store standards. You will coordinate with leaders and swarm teams to ensure shelves are well-stocked and deliveries meet quality guidelines.

You will drive training, support a safe work environment, and step in as Acting Store Manager on shift. The role requires weekend shifts and strong compliance, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operations & Stock Management: ensure accurate routines, lead the swarm to handle tasks, and oversee shelving and deliveries per standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: lead on‑job training and coaching for team members, maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain Store Standards: ensure teams fill to standard, prioritise shelf‑friendly packaging and manage overstocks.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: escalate process issues to the Function Lead for resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: step up as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and engage in Better Together initiatives.

• Manage and maintain process flow for an assigned workstream.
• Collaborate closely with your Team Leader and 'swarm' to ensure efficiency.
• Ensure uninterrupted process completion and strict adherence to established guidelines.
