Job summary

Arataki School is seeking a certificated teacher to join Kopukairoa whanau in a Year 3–4 reo rua (level 2) akomanga. The role involves designing engaging learning experiences that strengthen te reo Māori, student identity, culture, achievement and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will be well organised, communicate effectively, and bring a warm, supportive approach to create a thriving classroom that supports all learners.

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ teacher registration and current practicing certificate.
• Experience in primary education and Year 3–4 teaching preferred.
• Strong classroom management and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 3–4 reo rua (level 2) class in Kopukairoa whanau.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design engaging learning that strengthens te reo Māori, identity, culture, achievement and wellbeing.
• Create a warm, caring classroom atmosphere where students can thrive and learn.
