Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE and NCEA Levels 2-3 from anywhere in New Zealand. You will teach five days a week in live virtual classrooms, designing personalised learning experiences and building strong relationships with students in a supportive online community.

Qualifications

• NZ Teaching Registration required.
• Teaching qualification and subject expertise.
• Strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3).
• Comfort with digital technology and online teaching.
• IGCSE teaching experience desirable.
• Online or blended learning experience desirable.
• Familiarity with educational technology desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live online lessons five days per week.
• Design personalised learning experiences.
• Build trust-based relationships with students in a virtual environment.
• Collaborate with a high-calibre team of educators.
• Support student progress through differentiated instruction.
• Provide formative assessment, with quality feedback, feed-forward, and summative assessment, aligned to curriculum goals.
• Contribute positively to the functioning and growth of the curriculum team.
• Develop genuine partnerships with, and report to parents and caregivers to support learning.
