Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Senior Advisor, Procurement to join the Central Region Contract Liaison and Procurement team. You will support complex national and regional health and social services procurements, providing expert advice and leading procurement activities in alignment with government rules and best practice.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Service Development Managers, PFO teams, and national procurement colleagues to strengthen procurement capability

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification is required.
• More than 3-5 years' experience in senior procurement roles.
• Proven experience managing complex social services procurement processes in health.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement processes within the Central Region.
• Provide strategic and operational procurement advice to senior leaders.
• Support negotiations for complex agreements and ensure alignment with government rules.
• Help strengthen procurement capability across Health NZ and with national colleagues.
