Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Production Planner to optimize schedules and resource allocation for manufacturing operations. This fully remote role partners with production managers and supply chain teams to align planning with business goals and drive cost efficiency.

You will develop detailed production plans, monitor progress, coordinate with procurement and logistics, and leverage ERP/MRP software to minimize bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and production execution.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or disruptions.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for improved efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet production requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to understand and meet customer order demands.
