Placements24 is seeking a Principal Data Solutions Architect to define and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy. You will lead scalable data platforms, including data warehouses and data lakes, and drive governance, security, and best-practices across the organization.

The role requires 10+ years in data architecture/engineering, strong cloud platform experience (Redshift/Snowflake preferred), and a track record of delivering enterprise-grade data solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles with design focus.
• Proven expertise in enterprise data warehousing and big data solutions.
• Cloud data services and modern data platforms experience required.
• ETL/ELT, data modeling, SQL/NoSQL proficiency demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable data platforms including warehouses and data lakes.
• Define standards, governance, and security for data architectures.
• Lead technical design and implement big data solutions using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to meet data needs.
• Mentor data engineering/analytics teams and improve pipelines for cost efficiency.
• Stay updated on trends in data architecture and analytics.
