Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, offering Years 9-13 access to IGCSE and NCEA curricula. This fully remote role lets you teach Science to Years 9-12 from anywhere in New Zealand, while contributing to a connected, wellbeing-focused learning community.

We seek experienced Science teachers with NZ Registration, strong NCEA knowledge, and adeptness with digital tools. IGCSE experience and online teaching are desirable.

Qualifications

• NZ Teaching Registration is required for the role.
• Science teaching qualification with subject expertise is essential.
• Strong knowledge of NCEA Levels 2-3 is required.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital technology are important.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live online Science lessons five days per week.
• Design personalised learning experiences for Years 9-12.
• Build trusting relationships with students in a virtual environment.
• Collaborate with a high-calibre team of educators.
