Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Legal Counsel to support its expanding operations from a home office. The role covers commercial contracts, corporate governance, employment law, and regulatory compliance across multiple business units.

You will provide timely legal guidance, draft and negotiate documents, ensure regulatory adherence, manage legal risks, and liaise with external counsel as needed in a fully remote NZ-based role.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 7 years post-qualification experience in a generalist legal role.
• Broad experience across commercial law, corporate law, and ideally employment law.
• Strong ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical advice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adapted for remote environments.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with remote collaboration platforms.
