The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infection control, a deep understanding of epidemiological principles, and the ability to translate these into practical, remote-manageable guidelines. You will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and healthcare professionals within our expanding digital health ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor infection rates and trends within the organization and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct virtual risk assessments of clinical workflows and processes to identify potential infection hazards.
  • Develop and deliver remote training programs on infection control best practices for healthcare staff and relevant stakeholders.
  • Advise on the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and sanitization protocols.
  • Stay abreast of emerging infectious diseases, public health guidelines, and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and IT departments to integrate IPC measures into telehealth platforms and digital health tools.
  • Investigate outbreaks or unusual clusters of infections and develop containment strategies.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on infection control for the organization.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Current certification in Infection Control (CIC) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in infection prevention and control, preferably with exposure to healthcare informatics or telehealth.

  • Strong understanding of infectious disease transmission, microbiology, and epidemiology.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences remotely.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software (e.g., statistical analysis tools, electronic health records).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
