Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy in New Zealand is seeking a qualified History teacher to deliver live online lessons to Years 9-12, covering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE and NCEA Levels 2-3. This role is fully remote, allowing you to teach from anywhere in Aotearoa while building a connected learning community.

You will design personalised learning experiences, assess progress with formative and summative methods, and collaborate with a high-calibre team of educators to uphold wellbeing and excellence in student

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ Teaching Registration and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of NCEA Levels 2-3.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live online History lessons to Years 9-12.
• Design personalised learning experiences aligned to Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE and NCEA.
• Build trust-based relationships with students in a virtual environment.
• Collaborate with a high-calibre team of educators.
• Support student progress through differentiated instruction.
• Provide timely formative, feedback, and summative assessment.
• Contribute to curriculum team growth and functioning.
