Placements24 is seeking a bright, detail-oriented Graduate Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This fully remote role supports projects primarily in the Queenstown region while offering hands-on experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.

You will work with senior finance professionals, develop your skills in reporting and data analysis, and contribute to financial planning and decision-making in a supportive, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with financial reporting software is a plus.
• Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial data collection, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
• Help maintain financial models and databases.
