Job summary

Dotmatics, a Siemens company, is seeking a Java Developer to join our Geneious Prime team. You will join an established, agile development group responsible for the flagship product, with opportunities to work on both front-end UI and back-end systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science and/or 2+ years of relevant working experience.
Knowledge of Biology is not required, we have a team of scientists who will help you learn.
You will be an engineer that prides themselves on getting things done and can demonstrate experience in:

Responsibilities

Integrate new algorithms for analysing sequence data
Build user-friendly tools for managing biological data and integration with cloud services
Develop and maintain Geneious Prime and other Java based software solutions
Collaborate regularly with colleagues and customers to establish requirements and iterate on designs
Serve as part of a cross-functional development team and take on testing, documentation and support when needed
