Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Editorial and Media Practice Reviewer for a contract, remote position. You will evaluate AI work products in editorial and media fields to ensure realism and accuracy, and review AI-generated content for compliance with industry standards and regulations.

You will also assess AI grading validity by comparing your judgments with graders and provide structured feedback on score defensibility, working independently to evaluate about one item per hour.

Qualifications

• 4+ years editing, reporting, or video editing experience.
• Near-native business English proficiency.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and PDFs for data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI work products in editorial and media fields to ensure task realism and domain accuracy.
• Review AI-generated content for alignment with industry standards, regulations, and constraints.
• Assess the validity of AI grading by comparing your professional judgment with the grader's scores.
• Provide structured feedback on the defensibility of scores, ensuring they meet professional standards.
• Work independently to deliver evaluations within approximately one hour per item.
