Job summary

Mondelēz New Zealand is seeking a Demand Planner to develop the 0-24 month IBP forecast by brand and SKU, coordinating input from sales, marketing and other stakeholders to ensure a robust, deployable demand plan.

You will provide the finalized detailed demand plan to supply planners, adjust it with feedback from the commercial team, and coach colleagues as needed. This role supports weekly pacing and statistical forecasting with a remote-work-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
• Experience within an IBP/S&OP environment.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams with attention to detail and prioritisation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with data interpretation.
• Agile and curious mindset; comfortable with system upgrades and new processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative approach with multiple functions daily.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the demand management cycle of the IBP process for categories and strategy discussions.
• Improve communication between commercial and operational teams to support KPIs.
• Manage forecast compilation, owning the short-term weekly plan and long-term forecast with stock sufficiency and lead times.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for forecast accuracy and share insights with leadership.
• Collaborate with modelling team to generate statistical forecasting for future state.
