Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join a globally distributed, remote-first team. You will own end-to-end ML projects, from data prep and model development to deployment and monitoring on cloud platforms.

Strong Python and ML library skills, plus cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), are essential for building scalable AI systems. You will collaborate with data scientists and software engineers, enhance MLOps practices, and stay current with AI advancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and its ML services.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and AI systems.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for ML model training and inference.
• Implement and manage ML models on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML solutions into production systems.
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Develop and implement MLOps best practices for CI, CD, and monitoring.
• Stay current with advancements in AI, ML, and cloud technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical direction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ML models and infrastructure.
