Qualifications

• Must hold an recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification.
• Current NZ Teacher Registration (Provisional or Full).
• NZQA recognition if applicable for overseas qualifications.
• Valid work rights in New Zealand.
• Current and previous manager references.

Responsibilities

• Support in Rotorua centres as a reliever, bringing energy and calm presence.
• Lead mat time and support play-based learning or other needs as required.
• Build strong relationships across Rotorua centres while enjoying day-to-day variety.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and responsive teaching across tamariki.

Your Role as a Reliever:

You’ll step into our centres ready to support wherever needed—bringing energy, creativity, and a calm, capable presence. One day you might be leading mat time, the next supporting play-based learning or helping tamariki explore their environment.

You’ll be welcomed as part of the team from day one, with opportunities to build strong relationships across our Rotorua centres while still enjoying variety in your day-to-day work.

What You’ll Bring:

• A recognised teaching qualification (ECE or Primary, Level 7 or higher)
• Current NZ Teacher Registration (Provisional or Full)
