Job description

Learning Adventures Henderson

Filled with laughter, learning adventures, and big outdoor spaces to explore, our centre is a place where Tamariki can play, discover, and let their imaginations run wild! From giant sandpits and swings to huge playgrounds and flowing indoor-outdoor spaces, every day is packed with fun, creativity, and meaningful moments.

Our preschool environment is designed for curious little learners, with plenty of space to explore, build friendships, and grow confidence through child-led learning and play. We love heading out on local hīkoi during the term and creating exciting learning experiences that keep every day fresh, engaging, and full of adventure.

What really makes our centre special is our team. We’re fun, relaxed, kind, and genuinely enjoy spending time together — like one big happy whānau! We believe teaching should be full of laughter, teamwork, and manaakitanga, and we’re looking for a Kaiako who brings positive energy, patience, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

This is a Reliever Certificated opportunity perfect for a passionate Kaiako who enjoys variety, flexibility, and building strong relationships with Tamariki, whānau, and the teaching team. Our offer to you:

• A fun, supportive team that loves what they do
• Spacious learning environments and awesome outdoor play areas
• Flexibility that works around your lifestyle
• Opportunities to grow and learn within Evolve Education Group
• A centre where kindness, teamwork, and laughter are part of every day
• A half-day of birthday leave

• You’re an experienced ECE teacher with provisional or full NZ Teaching Council Registration.
• A caring, patient, and positive attitude
• Someone proactive who can jump in and awhi the team wherever needed
• A team player who enjoys working alongside others
• Confidence building relationships with Tamariki and whānau
• A passion for fun, child-led learning experiences
