Job summary

Hato Hone St John is seeking a qualified Paramedic Relief to cover Brown Watch in North Canterbury, including Rangiora and Amberley stations, on a fixed-term basis through to 1 June 2027. The role requires joining a team of staff and volunteers providing high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will adapt quickly, work collaboratively with both paid and volunteer staff, and contribute to service improvement and station portfolios while upholding the organisation's values in practice.

Qualifications

• Current St John Authority to Practice at Paramedic level.
• Current Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Evidence of excellent operational and clinical performance to date.
• Excellent driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
• Commitment to the wellbeing of others.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Evidence of continuing competence and professional development (CCE).
